Alolan Pokemon from Sun & Moon will be added to Pokemon Go on March 1.
The Pokemon Company gave Nintendo Direct a first day of the year, which brings a new generation of Pokemon, Unity and Arceus for new updates, and a new item for Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which lets players officially capture Shaymin. The Alolan Pokemon are coming into Pokemon on March 1.

Pokemon Presents during the first big revelation with The News Was. While acting on the telecommunication company Takato Utsunomita, the new Pokemon is teasing a short film trailer.
This trailer shows three Alolan starters that have been slowly revealing before the beach. You’ve got one signed grass as an example of Litten, a sandcastle with feather reciting such a sign as Rowlett, and bubbles with a sandpaper to popplio.
It’s not clear if the March will only bring three alolan starters, but it’s more likely that we’ll see more Sun & Moon’s roster added. Interestingly, this is the first time that Alola has seen Pokemon, with Alolan variants such as Alolan Meowth, Alolan Rattata, and Alolan Eggxecutor. In fact, almost all of the Alolan variants exist in Pokemon Go, so it seems more likely that this update will bring in some of the Pokemon looking at Sun & Moon, rather than just featuring more variants.
Something else has been said for Alolan updates, but I don’t think it was interesting to observe that it was ignored in Pokemon Go’s roadmap just a few days ago by Niantic. Rather than its appearance, the camera looked unavoidable.
