Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition is out now, and fans of its original release will be happy to know that in addition to the enhanced graphics and art style, the game includes an option to play with the original style from 1999 as well. How To Switch To Chrono Cross Radical Dreamers In Original Graphics
Fortunately, you can switch back and forth from Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition. If that means you have already started the game, you can still change the style.
- Open the main menu for the Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition.
This is the menu that lets you choose between Chrono Cross and Radical Dreamers.
- Select “Settings” on this main menu.
One of the options will be about graphics style.
- Simply select that you want to play with the original graphics.
All you need to keep in mind is that this toggles everything from the old style: original character models, character illustrations, cutscenes, and pixel font. These cannot be toggled independently of each other.
It’s important to note that if you want to switch back to the new graphics style, the method is the same for changing it back.
