With the release of the Witch Queen expansion, players are busy grinding their way to new power caps in preparation for the new Raid. Alongside completing the campaign and getting gear drops that way, players can also get their season pass to free exotic engrams and other handy resources to help get their Guardian the best loadout. Shared Wisdom can help you do that but at a faster rate, you know how it all works.
Destiny 2 in Getting Shared Wisdom XP Boost
Shared Wisdom is automatically applied when you have a Fireteam and you or another player have a Unlocked One or several ‘Small Fireteam XP Boost’ items from the current Season Pass.
Each XP Boost grants a 2% bonus boost to any XP gained from activities you do while you’re busy exploring or gunning down enemies. For example, if you’re completing bounties, you’ll get the bonus, but if you’re just in orbit, you won’t.
The Shared Wisdom XP Boost maxes out at 8% and you won’t need a full Fireteam in order to max it out. The bonus comes from the player with your party The Great Fireteam XP Bonus (up to 8%).
You can check the% boost to XP received from Shared Wisdom by going to your ‘Character’ screen.
Season Pass in All Fireteam XP Boost Ranks
There are 10 Small Fireteam XP Boosts in the Season 16 Season Pass that increase Fireteam members’ XP gains by 2% via Shared Wisdom. The following ranks are:

- Rank 7
- Rank 16
- Rank 26
- Rank 36
- Rank 46
- Rank 56
- Rank 66
- Rank 76
- Rank 86
Destiny 2 in Shared Wisdom Boost with Farm XP
You can earn as many bounties as you can by earning a ton of XP, but not by turning them over to your Fireteam to make up for the maximum Shared Wisdom XP boost of 8%.
At this point, go ahead and turn all your bounties and you’ll earn a ton of extra XP, helping you level up quickly. It’s a simple method, but one that’s more effective.
