Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco, Elden Ring is the latest action-RPG that’s just released for PC and consoles. There are tons of dungeons to explore, along with various main story and optional bosses to test against your skill. And yes, there are also lots of secrets to be uncovered over the next few months. If you’re wondering Whether there are illusory walls in the Elden Ringhere’s what you need to know.
Elden Ring in Are There Illusory Walls?
The short answer is yes, there are indeed some illusory walls to be found all over the Elden Ring. They’re not very common, but they do exist.
In order to check whether a wall is fake, all you have to do is roll into it and if it disappears it is indeed illusory. There’s no need to strike it with your weapon like some of FromSoft’s previous games.
That being said, there really is a way to tell whether a wall is fake or not. There are no discernible giveaways, which means that the Elden Ring really comes down to trial and error, and to really try to find every nook and cranny of every dungeon that you’re in.
There may be some environmental clues to help you out. For instance, if you enter a room with nothing inside, it might be worth checking out all the walls as these are usually designed with purpose. The first illusory walls can be found in the second region, the Lakes of Liurnia, as you enter the Academy of Raya Lucaria. It’s some earlier ones, and it’s very likely that there are tons of other secrets that we’ve missed in our playthrough.
