Elden Ring Blaidd NPC Questline Guide

Blaidd is the great wolf man NPC you’ve seen in promotional art, and a friendly face that you can meet in the Lands as well. It’s important to note that while we’ve gotten pretty far into his questline, we’ve yet to see it through his conclusion, and we’ll update this guide once.

For now, here are all the steps you need to take to progress his story:

  1. Meet Melina and unlock the ability to level up.
  2. Head to the Church of Elleh and speak with Renna to get the Spirit Calling Bell.
  3. Travel to the Mistwood Ruins in East Limgrave to find Blaid sitting at the top of the ruined tower howling.

  4. Head back to the Church of Elleh and speak with Kale about howling man.

Kale Will Give You The Finger Snap! Gesture, and ask you to use it when you see the wolf man again.

  5. Go back to the Mistwood Ruins where Blaidd is, and use the Finger Snap! When you gesture you’re directly underneath him.

This will prompt Blaidd to jump out of the tower and interact with him.

  6. Speak with Blaidd, and he’ll tell you that someone named Darriwil.
  7. Head to the Forlorn Hound Evergaol in East Limgrave.

Activate the pedestal there to enter a boss arena, and touch the near summon sign of Blaidd’s help in the fight against Darriwil.

  8. After defeating Darriwil, Blaidd will be found just on the side of the arena. Speak with him.

Blaid will reward you with a Somber Smithing Stone [2] Darriwil locating in your help.

  9. Speak with Blaidd again, and he’ll mention a blacksmith who can find the road to the Manor.

The Road is located in the Lakes of the Northwestern part of the Lakes, where you can find War Counselor Iji. Tell him Blaidd sent you, and this will unlock the Carian Filigreed Crest for purchase.

  10. In order to continue Blaidd’s questline, you’ll need to head to the Tower of Renna’s Witch with the Lakes of the Northwest Territory.

The Tower is located in Three Sisters, where Ranni’s Rise is named. Here’s a new questline to start with, Renna to Speak to the Need, and She’ll Ask You to Meet the Blaidd in Siofra River.
Be warned, however, that Ranni’s Rise to get in order, you’ll need to fight your way through the Carian Manor.

  11. Take the elevator located just east of the Mistwood Ruins head to the Siofra River.

Find another elevator leading up to the ruined temple. Get past the crabs, and rest at the site of Grace, then continue northwards past the ancestral followers to find the edge of Blaid’s standing. The city of Nokron.

  12. Head back to Three Sisters at Selivus’s Rise.

Selivus will tell you that a sorceress might have some clue on how to proceed.

  13. Head to the Waypoint Ruins, and access the cellar to find Sorceress Sellen.

Sellen will tell you that Nokron is the blocked off right now, and the only way forward is to defeat Radahn, who’s in Caelid.
This is part of the main story, so if you haven’t already, start exploring Caelid and getting to that area in Radahn.

  14. Upon defeating Radahn, a cutscene will play. Return to East Limgrave and head to Fort Haight.

You’ll see a large hole in the ground next to Fort Haight. Descend into the hole to find the entrance to Nokron, the Eternal City.

UL announced a new test that will be released later this year. This 3D Mark speed-through test is designed to punish DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics cards. It will feature full-time global illumination effects with ray tracing. UL says that there will be support for mesh shaders and resusers. This benchmark is sponsored by Lenovos Legion brand and you'll likely see it mentioned throughout this benchmark, as it is not surprising that galaxies have included the Time Spy benchmark and MSI in Fire Strike. It would likely be released as a standalone download from UL some time ago, the overclockers will not want to run the benchmark since it will not have to run Steam. It's unclear whether 3DMark would be needed to buy Speedway or is it likely to be included as DLC?3DMark remains a highly popular benchmark, but it can be a bit a bit unbalanced in regards to its CPU and failures, and whereas such high-performance CPUs have a tendency to overpower that powerful power. Although tests like the ray tracing subtest are brutal on cards, we hope that test will be the same. It's not only for current GPUs, it's also to come over the next few years.

A new 3DMark GPU benchmark is coming to a close later this year
