What Does the Iron Whetblade Do?
The Iron Whetblade essentially opens up more options when adding equipment to the War of the Ashes. The standard Whetstone Knife lets you modify weapons to become “standard” or “quality.”
Standard just grants the magic, special attack, etc. to the weapon, while the quality changes stats of the weapon.
By comparison, the Iron Whetblade opens up more option, such as heavy, keen, magic.
How To Get Iron Whetblade & Elden Ring In What It Does
The Iron Whetblade is found in Stormveil Castle in Limgrave, which is likely to be around five hours into your Elden Ring adventure. Follow these steps to find it:
- Starting at the Stormveil Castle (rampart tower), head to the southeast door and keep going until you reach a doorway with an elevator. The elevator is down if you need a nearby lever.
- Now you can see the painting on the bottom floor and face to the archway.
- The little statue you need to use is the little statue you see here.
- Kill the two enemies in this next room and pick up the item from the fireplace in front of the anvil.
