How to Complete Millicent Questline in Elden Ring
Millicent’s questline will likely be done as you progress through the game – not all at once – as it goes through the hard-to-reach areas that drastically jump in trouble. Here are the steps that you need to follow:
- Head east to find Gowry’s Shack in Caelid.
Gowry is an old man who will start the questline by asking you to retrieve a special needle and bring it to Millicent. Here’s his shack of the location:
- Defending Commander O’Neil in the Swamp of Aeonia, then bring it to Gowry.
You can reach this boss by heading east from the Aeonia Swamp Shore Site of Grace. Staying Torrent While Staying on the Swamp Avoiding Afflicted by Scarlet Rot. Head to this spot:
- Gowry from Retrieve The Unalloyed Gold Needle, then head to Millicent in the Church of the Plague on Gowry’s Shack.
To Get To Millicent, You Must Go Through Sellia, Town Of Sorcery. Light all the torches on the inside of the towers and remove the magical barriers to your town. Gowry will explain this little puzzle if you speak to him multiple times. Here’s Millicent’s location:
- Speaking to Millicent at Gowry’s Shack After Giving Her The Needle, Then Finding Her Again In The Altus Plateau.
Sit at a Site of Grace or fast travel to pass time and get her change locations. Here’s her location in the Altus Plateau, north of the Lux Ruins:
- Shaded Castle inside Obtain the Valkyrie’s Prosthesis, then give it to Millicent at her Altus Plateau location.
Millicent will wait for you in this Altus Plateau spot until you bring her prosthesis, and once you do, she can be summoned to help fight a few bosses. Here’s where you can find it:
- Defeat the Godskin Apostle at the North End of the Windmill Village, then speak to Millicent, then rest at the site of Grace.
The Windmill Village is full of women dancing and if they interact with you simply walk through the village peacefully. Here’s where to find the village:
- Millicent will then move on to the Mountaintops of the Giants, so to speak.
She’ll be standing near The Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Site of Grace, right at this location:
- Speak to Millicent at Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree.
She’ll be standing at the Prayer Room Site of Grace and will remain until a certain boss is defeated in the area. This is where to find the Prayer Room:
- Defeat the Ulcerated Tree Spirit Boss that appears in a pool of Scarlet Rot just before Malenia’s boss room.
You’ll need to cross over to the huge pit to reach it. The Boss won’t emerge until you reach the top of the pool, but try and stay on the land once it arrives.
- Two Summon Signs Where The Boss Is Used To Be. Choose the sign that asks you to help Millicent.
You’ll be summoned to help Millicent fight four of her sisters at once. If you choose to fight Millicent, you only get the Millicent’s Prosthesis Talisman as a reward.
- Speak to Millicent One last time as she took the battle of the pool near the lays.
You’ll receive the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia and Unloaded Gold Needle after reloading the area. She’ll be gone and the items will be laying on the ground.
What Does the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia Do?
This talisman is “Successful Attacks With Increased Attack Power,” which means that your combos will do more damage and continue to hit the pile.
This is a particularly useful effect for those who use the Hand of Malenia sword for its weapon skill as a flurry of strikes – just like the ones Malenia uses when her boss fights.
