Everyone’s favorite spoiler – the Taiwan Game Rating Committee – Has dropped a new listing for a Nintendo Switch port of TiGames excellent furry adventure FIST Forged in Shadow TorchGeneral Chat Chat Lounge While not an official confirmation, the board has developed a rep for revealing titles long before their official announcements.
Released on the PlayStation and PC platforms in the fall of 2021, FIST In a steampunk metroidvania that follows a weary war hero as they attempt to mount a resistance against a violent and oppressive regime, the Legion, which has brought war and ruin to the fuzzy citizens of Torch City. Armed (literally) with his clunky remnants of his old battle armor, Rayton Rabbit begins his journey into the industrial hell of Forge Tower, unaware of the ghosts that await him.
Given its small budget and unproven IP, I would personally go for bat FIST as one of 2021’s best, most unsung releases. With gorgeous visuals, characteristic animation, deep combat mechanics, and a solid, unrelenting challenge, TiGames and BiliBili delivered one of my favorite platform adventures in many years. Hopefully, this supposed Nintendo Switch port of FIST Will faithfully capture the compelling action of its PlayStation and PC brethren – bringing this great game to a wider audience.
