Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 has arrived, bringing with it a whole host of changes to the arsenal of weapons available, a whole new Battle Pass for players to grind out, and gameplay tweaks like a new tactical sprint and temporary disabling of a building mechanic . Are Pump Shotguns Back in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2?
Unfortunately, no, The Pump Shotgun isn’t Back in Fortnite as part of Chapter 3 Season 2’s round of vaulting and unvaulting different weapons.
All hope is not lost, though, as is the popular Fortnite leaker and dataminer HYPEX A new ‘Pump Shotgun V2’ which may offer players the same high level of stopping power as the original beloved weapon.
Pump V2 Explained
According to HYPEX, as shown in the tweet and video below, the new shotgun “is like a double barrel, but with a single barrel and a tighter spread.”
As such, this would be a close-to-mid / range combat, as it should be, and it should be easy to land a pellet from an enemy’s head, for example, from further afield. afar quickly from your goal to the line.
The exact details on damage dealt, drop-off, range, and ammo counts have yet to be written at the time of writing. Fortnite will be coming to this ‘Pump V2’ when we don’t even know, but we’ll know more when we update this post.
