When you first start exploring the supernatural-riddled Tokyo in Ghostwire Tokyo, you’ll notice that a hazardous fog spread across the map that blocks you from exploring the world. As such, you’ll need to Ghostwire Tokyo in the clear fog If you’re going to take on the various quests and activities across the map, and solve the mystery behind Tokyo’s population.
Cleansing Torii Gates by Clearing the Fog
To clear the fog in Ghostwire Tokyo, you’ll need to cleanse the Torii Gates in each different region or region of Tokyo.
To do this, you’ll need to locate them first, with an archive icon marked on your map. When you’ve made your way, you’ll need to press L2 to Purge the Torii Gate. Keep in mind, though, groups of enemies can sometimes be guarding these, waiting for you to show up.
Upon pressing L2, a small animation will play out, but that’s not always the end of it.
Occasionally a strong enemy may interrupt the cleansing, forcing you to defeat them, and other times there will be a number of smaller, smaller Torii Gates.
It’s not worth it that you can see or access all the Torii Gates from the very beginning of the game. You’ll need to continue to progress to the main story, uncover more and, in turn, reveal more of the map.
