How to Download and Install Samsung One UI 4.0 update In Samsung Phone

Samsung One UI 4.0 (Android 12)

The company has finally released the stable version of One UI 4.0 skin for its flagship Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra smartphones. To download, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap on Download and install. 

The One UI 4.0 beta program has been expanded to some regions in Samsung’s Galaxy S10 and Note 10 series, and it will soon be rolled out to more markets. Nevertheless, the update is already available for the Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy S20 series, and Galaxy Note 20 series in some markets.

You can sign up for the One UI 4.0 beta program soon if you own a Samsung Galaxy Series smartphone. Currently, the program is only available to users in selected regions. Whenever Samsung develops a brand-new product, it makes sure to provide a better experience to users. This is why Samsung always brings updated versions of its smartphones with it. No matter its upgraded features or custom Android skin, it doesn’t disappoint. 

There are many Samsung devices already running Samsung One UI 4.0, and it will be available soon on phones from all other manufacturers.

Update for One UI 4.0: Download and install  

Method 1

  • Download the Samsung Members app (if you don’t have it – Download here)
  • Click the One UI notice in the Samsung Members app
  • Once you have selected the Registration of One UI Beta Program checkbox, you can submit the application from your Samsung account.

Method 2

  • You need to download Samsung Pay if you don’t already have it
  • You will see a banner for One UI Notice in the featured section
  • Register for the beta program by clicking the banner

Note:

Take a backup before updating your system. It's a good idea to back up your data every time you update your phone, even though OTA Update doesn't require it. 
  • Charge your Samsung phone or keep the battery above 40%.
  • Do not power off your device during the process.
  • DO NOT root the phone yourself, for that might cause damage to your system, and the phone warranty was void.
