Part of the thrill of Elden Ring is the face of the seemingly insurmountable odds of OverSoftware’s almost sadistic game design. Thankfully, you are usually well rewarded for your efforts, with an awesome new weapon, spell, or armor piece. The Erdtree Bow is one such item; A fantastic Greatbow that will complement any Faith build, but one you are really going to have to work for. Let’s take a look How To Get The Elden Ring In The Erdtree Bow.
How To Get The Elden Ring In Erdtree Bow
First things first, make sure you have two Stonesword Keys (which can be purchased at the Roundtable Hold, or found in the open world) and match some description and arrows of a bow. Once you are thus equipped, we can begin.
- Travel to the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace and Unlock the Imp Statue.
The Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace is your very first come across in-game, just past the tutorial cave which starts your journey. Use two Stonesword Keys on the Imp Statue to proceed to the fog gate.
- Enter the Chariot with the Fringefolk Hero’s Grave and Context, the narrow bridge by dropping off.
From the fog gate, proceed to the poisonous section and make your way through Fringefolk Hero’s Grave. Take your time and avoid the Chariot, duck into the alcoves and proceed patiently. Continue around the first bend and continue until you find a secret passageway to narrow the bridge, and drop off one side.
- Defeat the Imps, and Deactivate the Flamethrower Turret.
You will soon be ambushed by two Imps, a long passageway that will help you overcome and continue until you reach a Flamethrower Turret. Temporarily deactivate it by shooting it with an arrow and continue onward.
- Drop off another two ledges into the water, and take the elevator upwards.
Stop once you see a statue (pictured below). There is a powerful Talisman across the bridge ahead (Erdtree’s Favor), but you will have two Grafted Scions to contend with. To get to the Erdtree Bow, however, the position is painted from the front to the bottom and the drop to the ledge below, then the drop down again into the water which, thankfully, is not poisonous. Continue onwards and ride the elevator up.
- Overcome the Banished Knight and take a position where you found him.
From the elevator, continue forward, but beware of the Banished Knight, the unprepared for a powerful foe. You are now on a platform above the Chariot, overlooking the area from the beginning. Defeat the Banished Knight, Equip a Bow, and Stand on the Platform.
- Shoot the ropes attaching the pots to the ceiling, timing its fall to the chariot
Now comes the really tricky part. You need to hit the rope with one of the big pots of ceiling with an arrow and time to fall so that it destroys the chariot below. You have three attempts before respawning at the Stranded Graveyard Site of Grace and beginning the entire process from scratch!
- Destroy the Chariot and receive the Erdtree Greatbow
Time your shot properly and the Chariot will be destroyed. You will be rewarded with the Erdtree Greatbow and 10 Great Arrows.
