The World of Warcraft Classic is a great way that the player can return to their younger lives. The vanilla game is lacking in updated news, though. Although it appears there was a new expansion to come.
Poached by MMO Champion, The WoW Classic Patch 2.5.4 contains lines of code that are labeled Interface_Wrath. There’s a word wrath, that reference key bindings and character creation, but only one piece of WoW history is prominently depicted. When Wrath of the Lich King was released in 2008, it was the second major expansion of MMOs, and took players to Arthas’ icy house and his undead army. This is a classic in the near future.
It would make a lot of sense. The game of The First Expansion was already revived. When it comes, players have the option of letting their hands stay on the vanilla servers or going over Burning Crusade. The Lich King arrives when / if we don’t know the same choice, but until the MMO Champion finds this 3.2.X client arrives for what they pay for.
Of course World of Warcraft still receives plenty of updates, too. The most recent is The Eternitys End, which brings back tier sets and adds an extravaganza to an alien realm called Zereth Mortis.
