- January 11, 2022 is the release date for the OnePlus 10 Pro.
- China will be the first country to get the phone. OnePlus 10 isn’t mentioned, however.
- We plan to make the phone in other countries, including the United States, at a later date.
The OnePlus 10 Pro release date was officially announced by OnePlus today at CES 2022. Hong Kong time is 2:00 p.m. (19:00 ET) on January 11, 2022, when the phone will be launched in mainland China. “Later in 2022”, the company plans to launch the device in India, Europe, and North America.
The OnePlus 10 is not mentioned in the OnePlus ad. According to the statement, the OnePlus 10 Pro will be released on October 12 and not the OnePlus 10 series. Maybe we’ll start with the 10 Pro then move on to the Vanilla model.
If this is the case, Oppo will use a classic strategy. The Oppo flagship device is typically released in China before being released elsewhere. Over time, it launches fewer versions of those flagships and repeats the process. There’s no way of knowing if this is what OnePlus is doing, but it certainly looks like it.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is set to be unveiled on January 11th, so we expect to learn all there is to know about it. Once that happens, we’ll bring you all the details!
