During yesterday’s Pokemon Presents video, it was revealed that Alolan Pokemon will be appearing on Pokemon Go. Today, Niantic offers more details, including which Pokemon fans could expect. When will the festivities begin? Starting March 10th at 10:00, Pokemon, Sun and Moon will show up in the wild. The game’s new season of Alola, beginning through June 1. For the first time ever, Alola from Pokemon will frequently appear in the wild. To the end of March 9 at 8 pm, players can expect the following Pokemon to be shown.
- Rowlett
- Litten
- Popplio
- Pikipek
- Yungoos
Lucky players could even encounter Shiny Yungoos! Tapu Koko and Rockruff will appear in Raids, with a chance to meet Shiny Rockruff, and so on. The event did not start yet, but the players have probably seen Alolan Exeggutor appear in the wild too often. Alolans are derived from the same name as Exeggutor, Marowak, Diglett, Dugtrio, Geodude, Graveler, Golem, Raichu, Rattata, Raticate, Sandslash, Vulpix, Ninetales, Grimer, Muk, Meowth and Persian. Tomorrow marks the first time in which all-original Pokemon from Alola has been available, but some regional variants are going to appear in the wild all season long.
The Season of Alola will also be relegated to the different islands of Alola. Three sets of special research lines will be released for the entire season, and players who complete each of the four sets will be able to compete in the June 1st special. The following dates:
- June 1 through Melemele Island- Available.
- The Island of Akala is available from March 22 till June 1st.
- Ula’ula Island- Available April 12 to June 1st.
- Poni Island – Available June 10th through June 1st – Available June 1st and 12th.
- End-of-Seas-available May 25 through June 1st.
The trailer for the season also showed Pokemon such as Toucannon, Hakamoo, and Kommo-o. The avatar item, based on Comfey, will be released in the arcade.
