What does it all have to do with Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 apart from the obvious? The answer is they all get new next-gen upgrades.
Capcom announced today that the three games of the Xbox One and PlayStation4 series will be upgraded by the end of the year. And the upgrades look good, too. On PS5 and Xbox 360, X / S Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 biohazard will have high quality frames, ray-tracing and 3D audio. The PS5 will support adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, too.
Anyone who owns a PS4 or Xbox One copy of Resident Evil 2 or Resident Evil 7 Biohazard could get up to the next-gen version for free. Smart Delivery will be in action on the Xbox, while PS5-based users can upgrade to the PlayStation Store native version. And dont worry those are PC players, and the newer ones as well. Those players are provided by Patch for each game.
So whether you’re looking for a last-gen Resident Evil or are they looking to jump into a cause, or look for a next-gen console owner, this year’s just grown better. There are no set release dates for this yet, but we think Capcom could have said more about them soon. If you haven’t tried Resident Evil Village, you can have fun. And they may be cheap when upgrading.
