Elden Ring in How to Beat the Red Wolf
For a start, the recommended build is that you should be around level 35-40, whether it’s a melee-focused or ranged build. As a more gigantic cousin of various wolves you can find in the game, The Red Wolf of Radagon is a much tougher proposition.
The fight takes up a lot of space, and the boss maintains a lot of control here, all you need to worry about is having enough space to dodge attacks. It is ideal to stay close to the middle of the room and avoid the corners.
Too Beat the Red Wolf of Radagon, You’ll Need to Stay Out of Close range, play defensively, and only when a strike opens conservatively. All of its combos have a maximum of three hits, and you don’t have much time to counterattack with a successful dodge or when its attack misses. The best opportunity to get some damage done is its leaping slash, but even then, you should only get one or two swings. If you are able to summon some help with Spirit Ashes, they can be great bosses for great distractions.

When it uses projectiles, you can avoid all of them by just sprinting sideways. When you spot the Red Wolf of Radagon laying down a singular or trio of swordtraps, it’s a long-ranged lunge for prepping, and it hits just before the right moment at the rolling.
If you are looking to stun the boss or even cause it to flinch, it is almost impossible. However, keeping up with pressure can also be a critical hit for your regular melee or ranged attacks. Jumping strong attacks can help, but with the small window, it’s not exactly advisable.
Keep your distance, pepper it with spells / ranged attacks, and take a stab once it misses its attacks. This is a battle of attrition, but otherwise, there are no other nasty surprises waiting in the fight against the Red Wolf of Radagon.
