The first bit of important information to know is that all of this is done inside the Menus of Grace. Having a day / night cycle like this is definitely a first for FromSoft Soulsborne titles, but with the open-world aspect of the Elden Ring, it’s a nice touch to the time as you progress through the journey.

How to Wait and Pass the Elden Ring in Time
- Approach a Site of Grace and press Triangle / Y to use it.
- Once in the Site of Grace menu, navigate to Pass Time and open that menu, it should be the first option.
- Once inside the Pass Time menu select the time until you want to wait. Selections above your current time of day. Your options are Until Morning, Until Noon, or Until Nightfall.
- Once you have chosen a time to wait, the game loads as you see it.
