The second season of Shining Vale has been confirmed

Shining Valethe series created by Jeff Astrof And Sharon Horganwith Courteney Cox, Greg Kinnear and Mira Sorvino (read our review in this article!) will return to STARZPLAY with a second season. To confirm the news the international premium streaming service which today announced that the second season of Shining Vale will consist of 8 episodes.

What we know about the second season of Shining Vale

Shining Vale is a horror comedy that combines terror and anxiety with the laughter bitterter of the most grotesque situations in which a family can find itself. In the first season, Patricia “Pat” Phelps, a former “wild child” who became famous by writing vulgar novels about women’s emancipation, moves with her family to a big city. But the house she arrives in is a place where terrible atrocities have occurred in the past. Each family has its own demons, but to the Phelps they could be real.

Nothing has been revealed about the plot of the second season but we know the members of the main cast. The first season saw among its performers Courteney Cox (Friends, Cougar Town), Greg Kinnear (Something is changed, The Kennedys) And Mira Sorvino (Hollywood, The Expecting) and these will all return for the second season along with Gus Birney (Dickinson) ), Merrin Dungey (Big Little Lies, The Resident), Dylan Gage (PEN15), with the participation of Judith Light (Impeachment: American Crime Story) And Sherilyn Fenn (Twin Peaks).
