To Your Eternity Season 2 release date
In early January 2020, Kōdansha revealed that the manga would be adapted into an anime television series for NHK Educational TV. The 20-episode series was directed by Masahiko Murata at Brain’s Base studio from screenplays by Shinzō Fujita, with Koji Yabuno as character designer and Ryō Kawasaki composing the soundtrack; NHK is credited for the production of the series.
Originally scheduled for October 2020, the series premiere has been pushed back to April 12, 2021 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan on the production of the series. A second season produced by Drive studio and directed by Kiyoko Sayama was announced for an October 2022 premiere, although no specific date has been provided.
August 2021, when the announcement was made, was a big date for fans of To Your Eternity. A second season was officially confirmed along with a teaser poster, with more information arriving in April 2022. It was then revealed that Kiyoko Sayama would be the new director for the anime, replacing Masahiko Murata. Drive was also confirmed as the new animation studio, replacing Brain’s Base. To Your Eternity Season 2 plot
The first part of To Your Eternity had a total of nine arcs (in the manga). The first 20 episodes of the anime adapted the manga up to Chapter 54, which concluded the Jananda Island Arc. It is safe to assume that the second season is going to continue the plot with The Guardians Arc and, depending on the number of episodes, wrap up the first part of the manga, with the Renril Arc. Here is an overview of what you can expect from the forthcoming episodes:
After Pioran’s death, Fushi lives alone on a desert island. One day, a girl named Hisame – the descendant of a former enemy – arrives to lead Fushi to a village once destroyed by the Nokkers. As Fushi rejoins the company, he learns that he has become the center of the legend of the immortal some seek and others fear. While with the Guardians, Fushi is captured by Prince Bon, a man who can see the dead.
Soon after, Fushi and Prince Bon embark on a journey to help the people of the land and protect them from the Nokkers. But soon they are confronted by a power that believes Fushi’s very existence is heresy. Prince Bon’s ability to see the dead convinces him that he is omnipotent – until he finds himself in the hands of Bennett’s Church.
There are now abilities in Fushi that only Bon can see, but are such latent powers even necessary for a being like Fushi? As the fateful Prince Bon awaits his sentencing, he must make a choice for the good of his friends and his people. Fushi’s preparations for Nokker’s assault on Renril take his skills into new territory. Meanwhile, Bon goes on a tour to find the new allies he thinks Fushi needs to win the battle ahead. Fushi is eager to defend the people of Renril, but to protect them he needs the trust and cooperation of the kingdom itself, and there is little time left before the Nokkers arrive.
Fushi may be able to fight on his own, but he cannot defend himself. The Nokkers vigorously attack Renril, but Fushi has found ready allies in Kai, Hairo, and Messar. The sides balance out, blow after blow, and exhaustion soon takes its toll on Fushi and the townspeople. Meanwhile, a familiar little girl is revived and sets out to help her dear Fu. The battle for Renril comes to a head, but when Kahaku’s left hand betrays Fushi and his allies, a great crisis hits the city. March arrives in time to see Fushi, but not to save him, and now Bon must devise a plan to turn the tide of the battle.
To Your Eternity season 2 cast
The main cast of To Your Eternity won’t be going through many changes, at least not as far as we know. Some new characters will be introduced, that is certain, but the main cast will remain – for the most part – unchanged until the very end (of the first series, at least). This is why we think that the main voice cast, since that is an unwritten rule in modern-day anime adaptations, will return for the second season, but also for all potential future seasons.

Where to watch To Your Eternity season 2?
At this moment, as expected, there is no means of watching To Your Eternity season two, as there is no season two of To Your Eternity to watch. The first season was streamed globally by Crunchyroll, the best anime-related site on the Internet, so it is safe to assume that a second season will also be streamed via Crunchyroll.
Will there be a To Your Eternity Season 3?
And while it certainly might be too early to discuss a potential third season of To Your Eternity, since the second season hasn’t even aired yet (although it is going to in a few months), but there are some great indicators that To Your Eternity will, indeed, return even after the upcoming second season.
Namely, To Your Eternity is still nowhere near its completion (we’re talking about the manga), and the upcoming season probably won’t have a large number of episodes, like the first one, which means that the producers have more space for new seasons, as you don’t really want to rush such shows.
Seeing how To Your Eternity maintains a consistent level of popularity in Japan is and how good it is doing, as well as taking into consideration the fact that the anime hasn’t adapted the whole story (the series is still ongoing, so there’ll be a lot of new material to adapt, alongside the already-existing one that has not been adapted yet), we know that the upcoming second season won’t wrap things up, meaning that a third season is looking very good.
Still, we’ll have to wait for some official news to be sure.
