Triangle Strategy is a brand new tactical RPG developed by Artdink and published by Square Enix. It features the same HD-2D graphical style we first saw in Octopath Traveler, and serves as a homage to old-school tactical RPGs like Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. Here’s How to upgrade weapons in Triangle Strategy.
Triangle Strategy in Upgrading Weapons
- First, head to the Encampment by pressing X to bring up the menu, and selecting Encampment.
- Once there, speak to the Blacksmith NPC, who’s standing on the right side of the area.
- Select the character whose weapon you want to upgrade, then select the upgrade that you want. Confirm your selection with A.
Do note that each upgrade will cost you a bit of coin, and you’ll also need to complete the process with the relevant materials. Items like Stone, Timber, and Fiber can be bought from Lionel the Merchant, found in towns during exploration, or as rewards from battle.
The weapon upgrading process in Triangle Strategy is also a lot more important than you think. It doesn’t just increase a character’s damage output, it also boosts your other stats such as HP, physical and magical defense, evasion, and luck.
There are different nodes that you can choose to unlock when upgrading is a character’s weapon, and it’s definitely recommended that you do this as often as possible to keep your team strong. That being said, resources and coin are extremely scarce in this game, so you need to upgrade your resources and your weapons to choose from.
As new characters join your roster, you might want to test them out and give them some sweet upgrades before committing to combat first.
That’s all you need to know about how to upgrade weapons in Triangle Strategy. Be sure to search Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
