With Overwatch 2 being two years ago, fans have been eagerly awaiting the new adventures that have been a team shooter for various heroes and villains. While the release is still far away, Blizzard is preparing for an upcoming test, and wondering if you were what systems the Overwatch 2 PvP beta is forhere’s what you need to know.
What Systems Is Overwatch 2 PvP Beta For?
As per the Official FAQ from Blizzard, the next Overwatch 2 PvP Beta will only be available on PC this coming April 26. There are plans to include console players, but those will only come in the future. So, if you’re planning on a sequel, you already know which platform can be the first to happen.
There are also some caveats to take note of. First of all, you will need a copy of Overwatch to access this PvP Beta, and participants will choose a variety of factors, including your Battle.net region, when you sign up, and your computer hardware specifications. Those who choose will receive their invite via email.
Blizzard has not determined the number of testers, but will add more if the need arises.
Joining the Overwatch 2 PvP Beta
To join a few of the lucky few, you will need to opt into the beta. Head over to The Overwatch 2 Beta page And click on the button that says, “Sign Up Now.” This will allow you to opt-in for a chance to be invited to the test.

Minimum (targeting 30fps):
- Operating system: Windows 7 / Windows 8 / Windows 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
- Processor: Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom X3 8650
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 series, AMD Radeon HD 7000 series
- Memory: 6 GB of RAM
- Storage: 50 GB of available hard drive space
Recommended (targeting 60fps on Medium settings):
- Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit (latest Service Pack)
- Processor: Intel Core i7 or AMD Ryzen 5
- Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD R9 380
- Memory: 8 GB of RAM
- Storage: 50 GB of available hard drive space
