During the Meta Quest Gaming Showcase yesterday, developer and publisher Vertical Robot announced that its sci-fi puzzle-adventure VR game from 2018, Red Matter, will be getting a new follow-up. That’s right, Red Matter 2 has been officially confirmed, and features more environmental puzzles, more adventure elements, and even more combat-centric gameplay. At the time of writing, Red Matter 2 is locked in for a “Summer 2022” release window. This means that the game could be released as early as June or as late as August 2022.
