Today’s the day that Overwatch fans have been waiting for. The Overwatch 2 PvP beta officially launches on PC later today, and that means players can finally try out a new Hero Sojourn for themselves, as well as see what gameplay changes the sequel has. With the beta starting today, some players may be wondering when the Overwatch 2 beta endsand here, we’ll discuss everything you need to know.
Overwatch 2 Beta End Date Explained
The Overwatch 2 PvP beta is officially set to end on May 17. This was shared via The FAQ on the official Blizzard websiteHowever, the servers for no specific time would have been turned off on May 17.
As such, we’d recommend that you get as much time as possible before the game strikes midnight on May 17. This should help you avoid disappointment if the servers are switched off immediately.
It is likely that the Overwatch 2 PvP beta will end at 11 am PT on May 17, given the time the beta starts today, April 26. Once we’ve got the confirmation from Blizzard, we’ll update this post and let you know.
It’s worth noting that none of your progress in the beta will carry over to the full release of the game. This is because the beta is a work-in-progress and a method to test the development team out of the current build of the game. As things could change, it makes no sense to carry on progressing, and doing so could break the game for yourself.
That’s all you need to know when the Overwatch 2 beta end date is. For more tips and tricks, be sure to search Twinfinite or see our coverage below.
